Okay... today is 9/11. One of the most darkest day in American History. Listen. You may have different views on it. And I am sure that some of you out there don't care. But guess what? I DO care. So... listen. Okay? I decided not to make a big rant, or a tribute or anything like that. Because I have really gone into great detail this week why I find it important. But let me ask you something. What is teh definition of cold-hearted and disrepectful? I already know. So, don't answer. But if you are these things toward this memorial day, what is up? I am sorry, but you must find respect for this day, think of the people who died, do you think they want to be forgotten? Would YOU like to be forgotten? Please treat today with respect and dignity.
So... my poem I wrote I will now be posted. Please read it. It ain't perfect, but at least read it.
9/11
Waking up from a respectable sleep
Openning my eyes on our world
Wanting to see my sky
But only to be surprised
I look up to not my sky of dreams
But an unwanted fantasy
Warnings shouting through the air
But all I can do is stare
Where my hope once stood
Now lies rubbled wood
Smoke covering my eyes
Fire choking the ground
The united towers they fall
The pentagonal building struck
Oh what horrors lurk
The shadows are swallowing us up
We question ourselves
But to our dismay
Another hijacked plane
Luck finds us before and hits the field
United 93 taken down
Outside a quiet little farm town
The brave people stepped up to the plate
And saved our capital before it was too late
We raise our hands to the heavens
Ask God what we should do
We pray for the answer to our whys
But only to recieve hatred in our wait
We look up to a darkened sky
Our dreams and hopes covered up
We don't know what we're realy living for
Only to be defeated by evil this day
Though five years it has been
Not much help has been seen
Our people no longer bonded together and can not see
We are the problems, yes we!
You think we should stop blamming
But we are so blind and stupid
Think my peoples, think!
We are the problems, we must come together, and rise up once more!
Then again, it was pretty good. So... if you want to discuss your thoughts, leave them here. I'll listen, but don't say anythign direspectign this day. Or, I will get ugly. So... please think before you say. Think. Like my poem says. Don't cause a problem when you don't need to be ignorant in teh first place. :D Okay? We good? Then at that note. Please, have a good, SAFE day. And I'll talk to you all tomorrow.
Oh, this is public for a reason. So, yeah. Goodbye. Bwatt...
